Fun times at Porter Park

My special girl.  Lauren knows how to make my stomach hurt from laughing and this is exactly how she does it.

Kristen enforces helmet-wearing while riding bikes, so Lauren is wearing her helmet while Oliviana is here.  We're too Idaho-immersed to recognize that this is always a good idea.

We dug out the bouncy seat to sell on the facebook garage sale website.  We put Levi in it to see how huge he's gotten since he last used it.  He actually really enjoyed it!

Look how long he is!!
Oliviana is spending the week with us.  We went to Porter Park to ride the carousel, eat free lunch in the park, and play in the water.  It was the funnest day!!

Levi LOVED the carousel!!

He cried when it stopped.

Levi also loved the water for about 5 minutes (maybe less).  When the wind picked up for a minute, he was all done.

Exploring the water with Lauren.

He was so darned cute!  I couldn't get enough of him.  I wish Landon had been there!  It was fun.

Look how cute he is!!  I can't wait to compare this with next year.  He'll be running everywhere next year!

Father's Day

On Father's Day we celebrated Dad in a big way.  Levi got some outside time with Emma, while Dad grilled up steak and shrimp.

He still hasn't spent a ton of time outside because of cold or windy weather.  He always seems surprised by the sun.

Emma made Dad a photo collage with prints she selected from our supply.  She modge-podged them onto an artist's canvas, then applied vinyl letters we bought from Porters.  This is for Dad to hang in his office at Burton.  So cute!!

Lauren bought Dad a Slim Jim, a "Dad's" root beer, and a package of mustaches.  She put them in a bucket and made a cute note, "Eat, drink and be hairy."  Thank goodness for Pinterest.

Dad ate leftover hamburgers for lunch, then grilled up some steak and shrimp for dinner.  It was the best dinner ever!

Such cute kiddies.

Enjoying his mustache.

Garage Sales, New Levi Photos

Saturday the kids and I went garage sale shopping!  We bought all those toys for a total of $13!

Levi looks like he just woke up.  Landon is doing drivers' ed non-stop so we love it when we get a chance to see him.

Levi doesn't have his own room, so now the living room is his playroom.  He wants to explore the whole house, so I thought maybe if we had enough to distract him he would be content to play in the living room.  Probably a little naive.

Levi continues to avoid baby food.  He loves any kind of food with lots of flavor, however.  He has enjoyed green olives, garlic-flavored hummus, and any kind of chip or cracker with flavoring.  He loves my homemade rolls, graham crackers, honey-nut cheerios, ice cream, and all other bad foods for babies.

He likes to grind his teeth and make fish faces.  Very entertaining kid.

He can pull himself up to anything.  He's beginning to move around or "cruise" the room.  He loves electrical outlets, especially if there is a cord attached.

We tried to contain him in a box, but he just stood up.

Get me out of here!!
