Fun at The Craze

One of the days after Christmas we went to The Craze.  Lauren and Landon played pool together while Emma and I supervised Levi in the kids' play area.  Emma and Landon had gone to see a movie Christmas night together, so this was Lauren's date with Dad.
Right when Emma, Levi and I walked into the play area, we witnessed a sweet little Mormon mommy yelling at another mom about how her kid is cute but she needs to improve her attitude.  When the mommy left, I asked the other mom what happened.  She stuck to me like glue and told me all about it.  Major drama in the play area!  It was pretty exciting.

Levi was a little overwhelmed with playing options.

Forcing Levi to be close to me for a picture.

Christmas Eve

A word about Drivers' Ed:  Landon's last day with his last class was on Saturday, December 21st.  We were all soooo happy that it is finally over!!  While it's been a blessing to have a way for Landon to make extra money to make ends meet, it's been a real challenge for our family to not have a dad around in the evenings and on weekends.  He's been really tired the past 2 years and I've felt like a semi-single mom for the past 2 years.  Monday morning he woke up early, took Levi and ran errands.  It was like a Christmas miracle!  They went on a little date to McDonalds (Levi's first time to the play area...I'm afraid I'll have to climb up the playland and rescue him so I haven't attempted it yet.), ate breakfast and showed off at the district office. I was able to take a shower and get ready without worrying about that kid chasing me down or crying.  A great way to start the Christmas break!!

Eating breakfast burritos at McDonalds.
On Christmas Eve, I begged Landon to let Levi open a present so he'd have something new to occupy his time.  This is a helicopter from Lauri!  He loved pulling it around and playing with it.  I loved the peace and quiet.
Christmas Eve we continued our tradition of going to the Bates' house for dinner.  We all shared the most delicious appetizers and treats!  It was so yummy.
After a fun white elephant gift exchange game, the Bates kids and the LeFevre kids (minus Levi) opened new pajamas.

Levi has a new thing about running naked through the house every chance he gets.  He squirms and runs away every time I change his diaper.  I've cleaned up little squirts of pee off the carpet and more than one dump.  It's almost like having a puppy.

We are back to the "some assembly required" stage of child-rearing.  This time the girls get to help.  We did this just before bed so Levi wouldn't have to wait around in the morning to play with his new toy.

Christmas 2013

This post is really unorganized, but it has plenty of pictures to show how we celebrated Christmas.  It was such a fun day.  Everyone was happy.
Santa brought Oliviana, Lauren and Emma Just Dance 2014 to share.  We'll see how that turns out!
We gave Nana a guitar!  I think she liked it.
A feast for dinner...king crab legs, prime rib, garlic bread, deviled eggs, salad, and baked potatoes.  Pecan pie and cherry chocolate cake for dessert.

Emma got a new camera for Christmas!

Emma got a "waver" for Christmas.  This is what her hair looks like "waved."
Levi got a fisher-price car wheelie thing, a megablocks wagon thing, and several V-tech toys that Lauri sent him.  He was super spoiled this year.
This cute outfit was purchased at Cal-Ranch with money from Aunt Lorina and Christina.  It's sooo cute!!
I was super spoiled with lots of chocolate and giftcards to go out to dinner with my "lovah."  I also got 2 gift certificates for complaint-free babysitting from the girls.  Lauren gave me some shea butter lotion, and Emma gave me a "bench scraper" which is a dough cutter thing.  Grammy sent us a griddle, which we've always wanted and never had.  It was an awesome Christmas!!
Endless "selfies" on our computer.
Super happy girls showing off brand new $100 bills from Aunt Lorina and Christina.
One Direction bracelet!
Levi got this new snack container in his stocking.
Levi's very favorite book of the 14 he received, a chunky flap book about farm animals.  I read it at least 20 times the first hour he had it.
A fun toy from Aunt Lorina
Levi never really enjoyed ripping off the paper.  In the end, he had us do it for him.
He ended up with about 14 new books!
Emma, checking out her new camera.
Lauren was shocked to open an Ipad Mini.  She is lucky her parents know how to find a good deal on Black Friday!

Lauri sent some of the funnest toys for Levi!  This alphabet train toy is one of his favorites!
Nana bought Levi this fun race track toy.

Checking out their stockings.
Excited to go downstairs to see what Santa brought everyone!
