Happy 20 Years!

Landon designed this vinyl for me for our anniversary. I was so surprised and touched at his thoughtfulness. He knows that the only thing that matters to me in the whole world is my family, so this was the perfect gift. He went to Porters and bought the frame, painted the foam board, applied the vinyl, and assembled the whole thing. I love it.

Levi and The Girls

Both girls are such sweet sisters. Emma will read with Levi or play trains with him in his room anytime he asks her to. Lauren is always being silly with him or teaching him new things. They adore him and it's so nice to see how they interact with him.

Emma's 16th Birthday

Emma is such a smart, fun, happy girl. It's so fun to recognize parts of my personality and parts of Landon's personality in her. It's even more fun to see Emma's own uniqueness take root as she develops into an amazing adult.
I love how Emma's big plan for her birthday was to binge-watch Gilmore Girls and spend the day with her family.
We went to the Mexican restaurant for lunch, then had bbq meatballs, loaded baked potatoes and salad for dinner, with chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert.
She got a backpack, battery stick, phone case, xacto knife, yoga DVD, Paris lotion and perfume, and money for gifts.
She had a happy day.

Civic Show for Ballroom

The girls just performed at the Civic Auditorium in Idaho Falls Saturday night. I didn't take any pictures, but here's Lauren in her costume. I took this when she performed at a basketball halftime.

Emma's baby

For Emma's marriage and parenting class, she has to have a "baby" for 4 days. She got a Mexican girl baby. Levi is having fun pretending to be a tiny baby. He wanted me to carry him around in the baby car seat and he likes to feed the pretend baby.
He calls the baby "Emma's Mexican baby".

Dinner With The Moores

We were invited to dinner at the Moore's house last night.  Daymi (the wife) is from Puerto Rico, and her husband, Corey, served his mission there. They made beans, rice, pork, fried plantains, and flan for dessert. It was soooo good!

New Maverick

Rexburg got its third Maverick a couple weeks ago! It's right at the Main Street exit from highway 20. The day of the grand opening they were promoting it with a hot air balloon floating around. Levi loved looking out the window and spotting it.
Whenever we go to Maverick, (gas is only $1.85 a gallon right now!) Levi insists on getting an icee. He then sits at the kitchen table and eats it by scooping it out and making a huge sticky mess.

Toddler Lab

Levi started Toddler Lab at BYUI today. He did it last spring semester when he was 19-21 months old. Now he's 28 months old and amazingly more mature. He no longer has separation anxiety and literally pushed me out the door and got really mad when I came back to pick him up. It's such a fantastic program. We're really lucky to have it as a resource. Levi will get to participate through April 3rd.

Chinese Baby

Levi brought me this book and told me that he is the baby on the cover. He said, "I'm a Chinese baby."  Lauren taught him how to make his eyes slanted and say "Chinese."  Good one Lauren.

Levi's New Toy

Levi is obsessed with a bath toy xylophone I bought for $5 at Walmart.

Basketball Game

Emma had to take pictures for yearbook at a basketball game last night. Levi wanted to help...
