When we bought our townhouse in 2008, we got a screamin' deal at $127, 500. Today the units similar to ours are going for around $115,000. Kind of depressing, but I realize we're relatively lucky compared to so many.
The HOA just bought and installed this new playground. The previous playground wasn't commercial grade, so it was destroyed by the kids pretty quickly. It was removed for safety reasons last year and this is the new one. The kids in the "neighborhood" are on it non-stop. (Our house is the building on the left, the unit on the far right end.)
Here's the basketball court. The kids take buckets full of the playground recycled tire surface and dump it on the basketball court. I guess that's fun for them, but a real pain in the butt for everyone else.
This is a "gazebo" thing that is just a covered pad of cement. It would be great if there were some kind of picnic table under it or something. At this point, it's not used for anything. (We're the building on the far right of the picture.)
