Quick Trip to Utah

We went to Utah to see Ashley Luke (Jane's daughter) get baptized this weekend. We left yesterday and spent Friday with Kristen. We swam at the Lehi rec. center, and it was so much fun! Lauren and I went down the water slide together, which was dark inside. She bumped her head, and I was so scared that I kind of threw up a little bit of my lunch. It provided good laughs for Kristen who saw Lauren shoot out of the slide and me sink immediately as soon as we got to the end.
After the swimming, we rested at Kristen's for a little while, then went fishing at a local park. We didn't catch anything, but it was fun watching Nase fish "Tongan-style" and watching the girls play around. The video is all of us, sniffing power bait for fun.

Lauren and Oliviana played together really well. Lauren is a great little care-taker.Kristen let all of us borrow her sweatshirts, since we didn't bring any jackets.The baptism was fun. It was so great to see the Lukes. The twins and Emma disappeared in their rooms as soon as we got back to their house.Here's the pretty birthday girl. Ashley looked adorable in her baptism dress. I thought the feast at Jane's house was worth every minute of travel time to get to the baptism and back. She stocked us up on sandwiches and homemade cookies for the drive home.
