Weekend With The Finaus

Kristen, Manase and Oliviana came to visit last weekend.  It was Kristen's birthday on Friday and Oliviana's the following Tuesday, so we celebrated both of their birthdays.  They stayed at the Springhill Suites in town, which was fun because we were able to swim together.  It was Levi's first experience swimming, and he LOVED it!!  Unfortunately, all the pictures taken were on Emma's Ipod so I don't have them to post on this blog right now.  Check back later and maybe I'll have them up.  They were on facebook, so if you've seen them there you're not missing anything. 

We hung out at our house Friday, then went swimming, then kept Oliviana so her mom and dad could go on a date.  Apparently that is a very rare occurrence, so we were happy to help.  Sadly, Landon, Levi and I can't stay up past 8:30, so they didn't get much of a late night, but they did have dinner and some Walmart browsing.

We decorated the house on Saturday for a "surprise" party for Oliviana.  We all went to Fat Cats for bowling, mini-golf, pizza, drinks and 5 minutes in the "balladium."  It was really fun.  We came back and frosted cupcakes (in ice cream cones, which Kristen had made in the morning), rested a while, then went back to their hotel for more swimming.    

Sunday we all went to church because Emma gave a talk in sacrament meeting.  She did a great job.  We came home and had a big pulled pork dinner.  We had so much fun together!  We're so grateful that they come to see us so often.

Levi seemed fixated on Manase.  I think it's because he's never seen anyone brown before.  He was very content to get lots of hugs and kisses from his uncle.
