Lauren

Lauren's been having a great time in 5th grade this year. She has a BFF named Zoe, who lives behind us here in the Meadows, who has made the summer and the beginning of the school year the best ever.
Lauren is playing the clarinet in band this year. She is sooo excited to learn. She looks ADORABLE when she gets it out and tries to make sounds come out. I could sit there and watch her "concentration face" forever. She's the cutest. She's been experimenting with different hairstyles this year, too. She is tempted to cut it all off and have it super short, which is a good look for her, but I've talked her into keeping it longer for a while. For picture day we did curls! She looked really cute, as usual.(Her hair wasn't really lopsided, but I know it looks that way in the picture.)
