Trip to Washington/Oregon Coast, Day 2

On Day 2 of our trip, we left Pendleton and headed west toward Portland.  We drove through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, which is always a highlight.  We stopped in The Dalles, which is the first Burgerville heading west.  We had burgers, fries, onion rings and raspberry milkshakes.  YUM!
We arrived in Vancouver in the early afternoon and spent the rest of the afternoon at Grammy's house.  We visited with Shannon, Grammy and Grandpa.  John and Katie, Heidi, Jason, Chloe and Lindsey came over for dinner later that evening.  We hung out for a while, then went to our hotel.
Our hotel was pretty crappy (double beds and no crib!), but for some reason we all got the best night's sleep!  Amazing how that works.
The pictures taken that day were pretty much all at Burgerville.  I guess we know where our priorities lie.
Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings from Burgerville...worth all the driving!  Such a treat.

Emma, posing, as only a 14-year-old girl eating a huge onion ring can pose.

Almost as big as Landon's head.

Baby loved his raspberry shake!
