Nana sent the girls some money to go see High School Musical 3, so we saw it last night. We made Landon come with us after promising him he could have popcorn. The theater was packed, and there was a group of 12 or 13 year old boys on the top row. They made fun of the movie the whole time until a mom went out and brought in a theater employee who made them stop. Landon found a lot to laugh about in the movie, like when the basketball team broke into song during their basketball game. My favorite part of the movie was when Gabriella told Troy, "I love you, Wildcat." At one point in the movie Troy went into the locker room. A whole bunch of girls sitting near us, grabbed each others' hands in their row and said, "Wait for it...wait for it..." until Troy took off his shirt and exposed his naked, muscular back to the audience before he put on his basketball jersey. In spite of all the tormentors, the girls really liked it and were happy we went.

It looks like they had a great time. My friend took her 3 boys--ages 9, 11 and 13--and they all loved the movie, too.
Zac always looks like he's going to cry when he is serious, but it is really a cute bunch of story lines and kids. What did Landon think of the whole thing besides the dance part? You're good parents to fight the natural urge to send them with someone else.
Landon hated it. He thinks any guy who would sing and dance is gay. He does NOT enjoy musicals.
We normally don't like musicals either. We've never seen any of them but if you can promise me that they're better than Hairspray, we might consider renting them.
Hairspray is my second favorite movie of all time. What do you have against it?
I'm so jealous. I want to see it and I can't get anyone to go with me. This is just another one of life's little unjustices I want to go and haven't and Landon had to go and hated it.
