He also got some cash from both moms and lots of well wishes. He told his 3rd graders that his favorite candybar is Snickers, so he also collected a whole bunch of fun-size Snickers bars from the Halloween hoard. I made egg mcmuffins for breakfast, brought him Arby's for lunch at school, and made the best ever homemade Mac and Cheese (Martha Stewart's recipe) with Nathan's hotdogs for dinner. (This is the birthday boy receiving his well wishes.)
We went to G's Dairy for ice cream from dessert. I think turning 38 was as good as it can get when you're poor and busy with work. P.S. Lauren has been inundated with annoying projects from school. There's at least one every week, on top of the daily homework. Here's her 3-D poster about Mr. Popper's Penguins. She did a good job.

38???? Weren't you just 22 when Erin robbed the cradle? You looked like you were passing a stone in the one picture--oh, yeah, I called about then.
Sounds like an awesome birthday dinner to me. Happy late birthday Landon!!
