Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins the day before Halloween. Emma teamed up with Dad and Lauren teamed up with Mom. It quickly became clear that we have very different "coaching" skills. Dad is definitely more "No! Not like that! You're going to cut yourself or mess it up. Let me do it!" and I'm definitely more "You're doing great! I'll just watch while you do it, because this is really the last thing I feel like doing right now." Either way, the pumpkins were carved, no one lost a finger and no one really cried, per se.
